Thanks Vangeaux but if it is a financial hardship then please save your money. The reason it is a donation and that we kept the LSU forums open for reading and posting for everyone is because as a community it's nice that those Tiger fans that are in a position to do so can donate and keep the forum open and available to the Tiger fans that are unable to do so.
Japanese Bomb Pearl Harbor! Where were you when Brett asked us all for opinions on the future of Tigerforums about a month ago? Why don't you go read that thread? We all chimed in and agreed that the site should remain free for anyone to access but that extended priveleges would be given to donors as a reward. You can still post and read here, amigo. If your avatar is that important to you, then donate. Else continue to enjoy posting and reading here. Most 3-digit posters feel that this is a worthwhile site that has value to us. You've been here over two years and have almost 1,000 posts--all due to Bretts effort and personal cash. I can't believe you think Brett is screwing up, when the alternative is NO Tigerforums or some Tiger Lair-like "Premium Site" where no visitors can come in.
And you say you're not worked up? My oh my.... BTW, didn't you say earlier that you were leaving? It's as simple as this.. If you don't want to make a contribution, then don't. It's really a shame that such an insignificant amount as $12 offends you that much.... Voicing your opinion is one thing, but telling the admin that he "Screwed" up the site is another, especially since you seemingly are in the minority regarding your "opinion".... Either do, or don't... (Notice the lack of personal attacks in my post).
