I didn't realize that Hawthorne screwed up again

LSU won the 2003 National championship and we also won the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl.

I enjoy Hawthorne. I don't care if he screws up every other call. He's LSU all the way.

 

Actually I really like Hawthorne as well

He has a great voice for radio and loves LSU. I just wish he would get more of the calls that go down in history correct. Warren Morris call was awesome.

Are y'all serious that the signs on the inside and outside of the stadium have different years? How did they not notice that?

Man give ole Hawthorne a break. This is College Football, not Court Reporting, and if the dude gets excited and says something wrong, there are always several hundred thousand Tiger Fans ready to correct him!

I would hate to have to listen to someone who was concerned about never making a mistake or always saying things in just the correct way during a ballgame.

He is all LSU, that is good nuff for me.

The story I heard was that the sign was painted 2004 inside the stadium, but was promptly changed to 2003.

 

whats it say on the building on stanford ave? I thought it says 2004 but maybe not..

 

I wonder if they have one of these outside of USCs stadium?
