We have had a hard season...very hard with a lot of injuries. I believe that these injuries were very costly too us, especially after the Auburn chop-block on Dorsey. However, if and when we play for the :crystal: against whatever team the voters throw at us I feel we have a damn good shot. The whole team, including all the injuries, will be well rested and will have spent time with their families. They are going to hear all Christmas from every cousin, grandmother, uncles, etc. that this is huge and for them to go out in style...with a NC win. We've heard it all year, this team watched as the 2003 team strutted off the field in glory and they had one goal, to get one for themselves. Take the time off boys, have some fun (not too much RP), and spend the holidays with your families. Then lets take care of business.... :tigereye:
Agreed about the rest mackey. We need this break very badly. My question is, assuming tOSU, how do we match up? They don't have a running QB so we may match up fairly well.
Sure, they looked good...against: Youngstown State (Alumni Band) Akron (Hall of Fame) Washington Northwestern * Minnesota * 23 Purdue * Kent State Michigan State 25 Penn State 21 Wisconsin Illinois 21 Michigan LSU has played 7, count them, 7 ranked teams... 4 of which are still in the top 25. Purdue? Penn State? Wisconsin? Give me a break..Yea, you beat Michigan, who hasn't?
Another big factor will be their layoff. They will not have played an actual game for a very long time.. I think this really hurt them last year in the NC.
Someone want to start making shirts now? Front will be some sort of Tiger and mandatory LSU logo. Back will be: LSU - 41 OSU - 14
No what hurt them last year was speed they were totally out played last year and had little to do with the layoff!!!!
If we get into the NCG, my bet would be after a few weeks rest and healing, you're gonna get the same Tiger team that spanked VT earlier this year. Woe unto OS... :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
