Ridiculous. The Alabama gameplan has been a topic of discussion with the coaches for weeks now. These are intelligent people capable of doing more than one thing at a time. Now, I have no doubts that the focus for the players is one game at a time, but I can promise you that film for every game that Alabama has played this year has been broken down and watched, except for yesterdays game. I can assure you that the same can be said for LSU's film in the Alabama Fieldhouse.
The 2 QB system worked well vs Tenn. JJ really does bring something to the LSU offense that is different and tough to defend. Coach Miles brought JJ back to the field, and it's working. He knows that we could easily need 2 QBs for the rest of the year, because one QB is only one play away from being out for the season. I get the feeling that Coach Miles is building and practicing not only for Bama, but for Auburn and the rest of our schedule, up to and including the BCSNC game.
We will need both of these guys to get to New Orleans. The two together bring a unique combination. If we had one dominate qb i would be against it because there seems to be some confusion still when swapping in and out. I think other than that our staff has done a great job of making our offense fun to watch. I also agree that the coaches circle particular games on yhe schedule an prepare the gameplan in advance. They never admit it to keep the team focused.
But that's just overstating the obvious. We seemed just a step "off" during the first half yesterday. We'll be clicking on all cylinders on November 5th, and as Sabanfan noted, Bama better be, as well. We should respect every team, but fear none of them.
I agree ...that crap should get you kicked off the site. Sorry MP93 .. .I didn't read any of it .. don't even remember what it was.
This is an aspect that Crowton never grasped. His offensive philosophy was to use 1, 5, 5, 6, 1, 1, 2, 14, 55... Crowton would always try to get "too cute" instead of going with percentage and it drove me crazy.
