locoguano, I pulled for you guys. I like Robicheaux a lot. Not only that, his roster is made up of home-grown talent. It's okay to be a fan of a preferred school but some people let that cloud their judgement and be jealous to where they can't step back and "be happy" for the kids- I guess.

I know we're talking baseball here but, UL's program has surpassed LSU's imo.

When Regional U over there wants to step it up and be a legitimate research university with a half billion dollar endowment and a few admissions standards then they can be University of Louisiana. Until then they are SLI to me.

 

Regardless of the fact that there is a school in Lafayette, any LSU fan that roots for Ole Miss, whether it be against UL or Lucifer himself, should be ashamed.

 

I went to USL back when they didn't have a basketball team and the football team went 0-10 my freshman season. The baseball programs at LSU & USL weren't much either so their wasn't any bad blood between the schools at the time. So it's hard for me to understand what has happened but I guess the proliferation of forums and idiots has changed the landscape a bunch. Sorry to see this; I do still call it USL though, ULL doesn't seem right.

 

It will always be USL.
