After the season, some Michigan boards were buzzing about Miles. A few radio talk show guys up there talked about how they hoped Michigan would go after Miles.
I don't think so....he stated once before that his wife doens't like the cold weather.... Then again, we've been fooled before by coaches saying things that didn't end up holding true.....
I think the future looks bright. Miles pulled in a solid recruiting class last year, RJF was his guy. He assembled a very good coaching staff, attracting Dunbar was a big plus, even though he only stayed one year. Pelini proved his worth. I think it took some stones to keep Fisher as OC, but he did it. He saw the need to upgrade his staff over OSU, and he did it. The coaches held the team together through Katrina and the rocky start in the first two games, with the new systems. We had quality wins over Fla., Auburn, and Bama, plus Miami (downer in the SECCG). Miles had an excellent first year, all things considered. Then, on his first solo recruiting class at LSU, he pulls in what appears to me to be a GGGGGRRRRREEEEAAAAATTTTTT class! Great Job Les!!! Let er rip!
