1. I have no direct answer for that question. But are we assuming now that every team but LSU is on some kind of upward plane with QB development? Everyone was gaga over Bo Wallace midway through the season....did he get better or worse? If Prescott or Marshall turn pro, do we automatically assume their replacements will immediately be better? Because Urban Meyer truly is a QB coaching genius and can develop 3 QBs in one season, does that mean everyone else but LSU can as well?

  2. You may be right; I hope you aren't. I choose to have a positive attitude. I think Harris will progress in the spring and summer, and the boss coaches will see it and pull that trigger for next season.

  5. Really? Mississippi St. and Auburn QB's have gotten continually better over the last decade?

  6. Arizona had a true freshman that threw for 250 a game, Alabama's running back for a qb threw for 3000 yards, I'm at an ATM but I could get some other examples.
  7. Yes there are so many memorable QBs from MSU, Ark, even UA playing in the NFL today. Outside of Eli, Peyton & Cam, LSU has had better success with QBs in the NFL than the rest of the SEC.
  8. Not necessary....I'm sure you can find quite a few examples. Next year, you might find a whole bunch of different ones. My point is, its not the same every year. Every situation is different, and I for one don't assume that this year's failure - and it was a failure - signifies a permanent situation.

  10. Other than Mett, and he really hasn't proven himself in the NFL yet. I can only think of three QB's from LSU that has had a modicum of success in the league. Y A Tittle, David Woodley, and Bert Jones. If I'm missing someone, let me know.
