I'm a TigerFan and I like Les. Still a lot to bitch about lately. My biggest problem with the board isn't the positive or the negative posts, it's all the posts complaining about the positive and negative posts.
I'm the resident old fart so let me offer my two cents for what it's worth. I'm going to use Red as an example. I often don't agree with what he writes, but I've been here long enough to know and appreciate that he's an insightful and most of the time spot on poster. There are many others too numerous to list. We can be on opposite sides of an idea or position, yet still discuss it in a civil manner. At least that's what I strive for.
Absolutely it's unacceptable, but only from a fan perspective. Administratively, as long as asses are in seats and buying Tiger dogs, it will be completely acceptable because they can't afford to get someone else. The fans are stuck in the middle. Hold what we got and hope the program hasn't stagnated, or trust a goof of an AD to make the next hire. Neither are very reassuring.
