Red, your take is that CLM knows how to win, knows how to coach, knows how to run a program, knows how to manage and hire staff and knows how to manage gameday. Do I have that about right?
Most recruits who would've followed Chavis would've done so if Brock Haley had followed. Haley is staying, and is more responsible for recruiting D players than Chavis. If we make a huge DC hire, the few recruits that have jumped will probably jump back on the boat.
Still a lot of uncertainty there with recruiting IMO. a DC is very important to a defensive recruit. Plus are we 100% sure Haley is staying? Really haven't seen it discussed.
Red all your answers to my posts prove that you have drank the Koop-aid far too long. You're the person that rides the plane all the way to the scene of the crash instead of trying to right it when there's trouble. You are delusional!
Haley from what I understand signed his new contract, and a few LSU players tweeted he is staying. Also, Toliver II's dad is pissed at Chavis, apparently as early as last week sometime Chavis told Toliver's dad he was staying at LSU, but Toliver's dad has emphasized Toliver II the #2 CB in the country is still going to enroll early at LSU.
For one more day. The buyouts are what is important and most assistants can't afford the buyout on their own.
Chavis' buyout clause of $400K expires today, tomorrow there's no buyout. Now A&M or Chavis are free do their business. But several recruits have also tweeted LSU is still good with them because Haley is staying.
Not exactly. He has strengths and weaknesses like any other coach. But on the whole he's getting the job done and it ain't like there is somebody out there that is guaranteed to be better. Lots more opportunities to find somebody that is not as good.
