Precisely. Remember last season after the UGA debacle....We had people saying the same thing ("I've never been so upset...", etc.). Things pick up.

Negative? Or just emotionally mind warped?

    The last three LSU outings:

Up 21-0 at the half against UT..... then......

Heaving a 4th down ball into the end zone after giving up 500+ yards.

A bowl game where you watch the results of a last play desperation pass.

Not to mention 2 unbelievable storms.

Red is right.... things seem much worse than they actually are.

LSU can still end up in Atlanta and get a BCS bid.

Maybe you guys took me wrong. I don't think the sky is falling. I still think we can have a good season.

IMO It is not THAT we lost that has been killing everyone, it's HOW we did it.

this is my last post about UT game. I am ready to move on to the next one, and stop worrying about it.

This seems to be working very well :dis: . If is not broke, don't fix it.

    Silver Lining

Special teams are doing just fine, thank you. In addition to big scores versus Arizona State, in the Tennessee game they had no missed placekicks, no big returns allowed, long kickoffs, two punts downed inside the 7, and good returns by Skyler. The Special teams coach surely knows his business.

The defensive squad is not yet comfortable in Pellini's defense. There was confusion. But the team is strong. This defense will get better.

The offense really needs a dose of confidence. The quarterback is big and strong, with a rifle arm but still displays poor game management skills after three years in the system. This offense will get better . . . or other players will emerge.

What this team needs right now is State and Vanderbilt.

Hey, this defense may not be worth a damn. It's just too soon to tell when the players obviously are confused and keep blowing assignments. When the team looks confident in what they are doing and they still aren't stopping top-15 offenses, then we can see what the problems with the defensive scheme are. It's too early.

Many of us who sat through those years see similar things from this coaching staff that we saw back in the 90s ... that is more worrisome than the actual loss to Tenn.

It's too early to panic, but I've been having flashbacks to the 90s after watching the first two games...

Once again, Red has articulated his point well and I agree wholeheartily....If we as fans feel this way, then rest assured the players feel much worse. We as fans MUST rally around this team and do what we can to support this team AND coaching staff. I REFUSE JUMP OFF THE TIGER WAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NOT PI$S AND MOAN LIKE CHICKEN LITTLE!!!!! WE ARE LSU...The players and coaching staff have not written off the season but it seems as if many of us have. WE ARE LSU...The Tigers got beat this past Monday night. Let it go, get over it, and get it together. Get up, shake yourself, adjust your attitude and remember...WE ARE LSU. LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU!
