For me, the bad news is I was watching the game at a dry party (some people really have those). The good news, had I been watching at home by myself, I probably would have had to make a trip to the hardware store tomorrow, to buy the stuff I'd need to repair the holes I would have punched in the walls in the second and third quarter. I was much calmer in someone else's home.
I'm sure my pastor (who will undoubtably talk about the game for about 5 minutes tomorrow before he gets Mass rolling) would tell you that confession is good for the soul. You may need to do a few "Hey Fightin' Tigers" as penance, but I think you will be forgiven.
While calming down all of my buds, I repeated my mantra over and over...As long as there's time left, there's a chance. I even commented that the posters on TF's game thread must be melting down. When will you people learn to wait until the end?:dis:
I tried to hold up the fort as it was crumbling down, I posted the ASU/Oregon thread about the game still being important as LSU was preparing to come back and win.
I got behind the coach and peeked over the top of it. My wife thinks I am Loco...wait a minute...I AM!:insane:
Just because a fan turns his (her) head away in disgust does not mean they are less of a fan. Actually it is a ritual in many primative cultures to set fire to fans who gloat over their ability to watch their team screw up the whole contest and not show any emotion. The collective forums ritual worked and I say we do it for the remainder of the season. :thumb:
LMAO..."I just got a picture of that in my head"...I'll probably have to go to Mass tomorrow and ask forgiveness for all the "off color" words I spouted! And some of those had four letters!
