This ain't from no Ivan Maisel. Sure what I am saying we all knew with common sense but many wondered if it had been "secretly" already done.
Exactly. Can't get anything past you. But I am sure it would be more reliable if I said Southern Sports tonight--where Les Miles was going to be named head coach last night, or the Arkansas "news stations" that said Nutt was offered the job, or Chris Mortensen- the expert that has Saban going into his 5th NFL season.......
Just wanted a link, geeeeesh! I supplied my own link and I was happy when you confirmed the link with "Exactly". Then you had to go and add all of that other nonsense afterwards.
I have full confidence in Skip and even if he hires someone I've never even heard of I will be okay with it. There is alot at stake. LSU football is headed in a positive direction and that was decided several years ago with the hiring of Saban and I feel confident we will be dominating in the years to come thanks to Emmert and now Skip. LSU raised the bar in college football coaching with the salaries and the renovations going on. We are in the lead nationwide in doing things right after years of screwing things up after Arnsparger and we won't lose that lead. We are in a very tough conference but Florida had a pretty successful run and so will we. We will be the new studs on the block in the SEC for quite sometime. Yeah, we'll lose a few recruits THIS YEAR..........and we will get some other great recruits to fill any holes. My brother went to LSU and I've been following LSU since 1960. I've suffered many heartaches and many wonderful times watching LSU but my brother once told me "Don't forget, the Tigers will always let you down." He told me that back in 1979. It's like Saban said in an indirect way coming in after DiNardo, that when things went bad in a game the Tigers seemed to give up. Saban changed that mindset at LSU. My brother ate his words after the Sugar Bowl this year. I broke down and wept like a child after the Sugar Bowl this year. I am totally confident that Skip has done his homework and knows a hell of alot more than any of us posting on any of these boards and I know we will be in good shape. Sorry for the rant. Oh......by the way, thank you Coach Saban for getting us into this position and putting LSU back into a prestigous program that we have craved for for years and years. Good luck to you and your family and continued success in your coaching career. If you should ever one day want to retire here in Louisiana you would be welcomed with open arms.
Another day, Another person with inside connections. Sooner or later, everybody will be Skips new best friend
