I just wanted it to be understood that I wasnt meaning to insult jim with my comments. I think he's a quality announcer. Now, fundamentaly he isnt always sound, but he gets the message across. Just some times forgets to tell the score lol.

yeah, he's a true purple n gold bleeder. He gets so into the action that he forgets the score. It gives me goosebumps while listening to him live or a replay from past miracles

goosebumps is a stretch. But, I guess its cuz im not a p&g bleeder myself. But, I know what you mean with an announcer giving you goosebumps. The greatest ever Jack Buck, gives me goosebumps when I listen to old tapes.

Jim is classic. We'll all appreciate him more when he's no longer around.

His call of the Warren Morris homerun sends chills down my spine. Goosebumps indeed.

Scrappy how come you never post on the td board? Are you afraid of a little criticism? You are supposed to be a professional, right? so why not post there? Truth be told you like to consider yourself a professional but you haven't reached that level quite yet. True professionals can handle the negative like water off a ducks back. You on the other hand whine and cry like a little kid...ooops thats what you are.......

also another tip, when on remotes you should dress a bit more professionaly. It is a respect thing for the business owner ya know. Showing up in a dirty tshirt and those faggy jean shorts just doesn;t cut it. Then standing up and scratching your boys thru the shorts pocket is disgusting. Atleast ya boy blake treats the remotes with a little respect by wearing predded shirt and pants even if he always wears those unpolished black dingo boots.

of course you will argue it's radio etc but that just reinforces my point that you are not a pro just a wanna be at this point. Respect your sponsers and show them you care enough to look decent when doing a remote. . It happens at most every remote, La.1 trk sto and goodwood hardware just to name. You are not in the studio son you are in public.

What chapter are you on in the LSU 75 years of football history I gave you???

Tough love scrapster, tough love. It will mold you into the man you want to be!

how 'bout..." and he's bottled up at the 15 yard line." Always wondered how many times he used that phrase in the course of one ball game.
Lots of fond memories of Ferguson's calls. :thumb:

    Well Spark,

I can handle criticism. But, the criticism on the other board is just way to much for me. Not just criticism of me, but criticism of everyone on the other board. I believe that this is a much better forum for just talking. There is a lot more rational thinking. Ohh, and thanks for the kind words. Thanks for listening.

Well, IMO tigerdroppings.com sucks and that's why many people post here instead of there. ;)

You are pretty close to being correct on that one. Unfortunatly thats has noting to do with the scrapster's not posting there.
But they do have the dancing nanna emoticon.
