My Steelers are still in it so my football craving is somewhat covered...But pro football just doesn't compare to college.
ive handled it pretty well, i'm currently in year 3 of my dynasty with LSU on Ncaa Football, its pretty addicting, and has really helped me so LSU football is covered there, and with NFL still here and college bball heating up its not lookin that bad
Another female perspective..... ARE YOU CRAZY??? Sorry, just had to get that out my system. It's almost baseball season. Is there anything better in life than a nice spring day at the ball park? The smell of the grass, the crack a bat, a pitcher nodding yes or no to the catcher's signals.... In my book, the answer is no! I even love a good pitching duel. I mean I love football, but my goal in life is to be a baseball bum! As for the rest of it? Well, those honey do's follow us females around f'in day long. Do the laundry, unload the diswasher, fix dinner, go to the grocery store, and on and on. And with some of us it is also mow the lawn, use the weed eater or edger, rake the leaves.... Yes, I do all of the yard work, too, but I do it when there isn't a baseball game on!! I do have my priorities straight!
baseball truly is a beautiful thing. you know you are a real american when you are chilling at the park in the summer, trying to steal signs and predict suicide squeezes and catch foul balls. thats what the founding fathers had in mind.
You mean, 'DING!,' right? I agee with martin. I absolutely love trying to track the teams' tendencies and strategies, like fielder position and how it affects the pitch location. But I also agree with the fella that said that no other sport belongs in the same sentence as LSU football. It has a mystique all its own!
Yes, I meant PING! I used to go to a lot of Redhawks (the minor league team here in OKC) games so I am still in the habit of saying CRACK. But that really was a terrible slip considering that I prefer college baseball!!! Martin, you are right. That is what our founding father's had in mind. I am sure that all of that is somewhere in the Constitution, right?
