1. Me, too. Teddy's Grill on Franklin Ave in New Orleans. Its in a questionable part of town across from the Milne Boys Home. I don't think I have ever had a better hot RB po-boy. They slow-cook the roast, then make their own gravy in-house. None of that out-of-the-jar crap that you get in a lot of places. And the bread sizes, Regular and a 1-1/2. Life is good at Teddy's.
  2. One thing about the po boys in N.O. is the inability for anyone to duplicate the bread because of the water in N.O. In a class to itself.

The poboys may be one of the few bright spots for the H&H renewal.
  3. That's because Troy (Rocco) and Bert are from New Orleans. Either Jesuit or Brother Martin boys if I'm not mistaken. They know how to make a REAL po-boy.
  4. Metairie wise, I have been disappointed lately with the Galley's Po-Boys in the last few months
  5. I want a po boy, but I am in Oklahoma! And it will be a week and a half before I am back in New Orleans.

  6. well get your ass in the kitchen woman and keep those mutts out.
  7.
  8. When in Covington, look up Big Bear's. Best po-boys I ever ate. When driving back to Tex. from Destin, we plan the return drive around when we want to hit Covington and eat lunch at Big Bears. I lived in Mandeville for 10 years, '77 to '87.
  9. "Get yo bitch ass back in the kitchen and make me some pie!" - Cartman to his Mom
  10. Yeah?

My cousin is a Brother Martin dude but since he moved to Mandeville he can't make a po-boy worth a cr@p.
