If the coaches call to win the game LSU should win this one fairly convincingly. Not taking anything away from W VA but this team isnt as good as their teams of a few years back. LSU is at home with a lot more overall talent. Despite not playing near its best ball LSU has looked more impressive, against better competition.

West Va doesnt play a tough D at all so the coaches should really let it go. Lets see what JJ can or really cant do. Time to let the reigns go here to maximize the talent of this team. West Va is a smaller DL so LSU should control the line of scrimmage. Hopefully we can establish the run here.

On D, LSU has played well. West Va will challenge our D though. West Va has two super quick players who are great in space. Devine and Sanders will really test the tackling skills of LSU. While we swarm well to the ball the tackling as a whole has be poor. We see far too many broken tackles. LSU doenst wrap up or drive well through tackles. Its been like this for a few years now.

I think LSU should win this game. Its just how impressive we look. The play calling will have a lot to do with that. JJ does have to make his improvements though no matter how the coaches call the game. He needs better poise and delivery. He just needs confidence. Does he have the mind set of a big time QB?

WV can really hurt us with the screen plays, we need to be extremely aware and prevent what is going to look like great pressure into big yardage plays.

Our defense is fast, we need our speed on the field to match their speed. That means Mingo & Mathieu should get more PT

Funny how all the guys screaming about how horrible this team is are now trying to temper their predictions. As if you can change your spots. So when the offense does improve, wtf are you going to say?

Yep, full of ****, I called it now I am full of it... hahahaha. Next I was wrong about the Sun coming up in the East tomorrow morning. Good stuff.

Well, they could sack Crowton and demote him like I mentioned before, I have no idea, I could end up being wrong about Crowton, either way the chances of winning the West or the SEC or NC is slim to almost none without a significantly improved offense. IMO Good luck.

so, what is wrong with this statement?

our defense and special teams can keep us in games and even win us a few, but to think that they will win every game for us?

You know SIU has been very critical of this coaching staff, and our offense, but he has been consistent. he hasn't flip flopped on any of his statements, and quite frankly, the one i quoted above, is pretty damned accurate. If you think this offense is going to win us the west without significant improvement, then my crystal ball is a hell of alot foggier than yours.
