I'll let the ADmin decide if the coach needs to go, I think they'd feel the same way most of us do. MAny things could get a coach fired besides wins and loses. but that's the main one.

To hear YOU tell it, this program is already at the point that Stoops and Belichick should be drooling to drop what they're doing and come here. Then you ask me if that's what I expect. Which is it? You can't have it both ways, you know. Who did I want LSU to hire? You know, I'm getting a little bit sick of that question, but to answer it, I DON'T KNOW, OK? However, if this program is at the elite level that I thought it was, and that you still seem to think it is (?), then we should be able to bring in somebody better than a coach that would be a better fit at Ole Miss. Somebody whose own fanbase would at least make a better pretense of being sorry to see him go.
Glad someone finally said this. Regardless of who is hired, it's a crapshoot at best as to whether or not that person will succeed. By the way FT, your latest posts about Miles and LSU have those of a very loyal tiger fan. It is nice to see and we can only hope to see more attitudes like yours. :thumb:
:grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: I won't comment (since I would probably be flamed off the board) except to say that a lot of you guys have been full of hate for the last year in spite of being on top of the hill. You have hated USC, Auburn, Tuberville, Ole Miss, etc,. etc. Spewing out hate doesn't get you love in return. I will say that I was pulling for LSU against Iowa. My Oregon State grad wife was too. We cheered when LSU scored late and were shocked at the last second Iowa TD.
MILES AVERAGED 7 WINS PER SEASON AS A HEAD COACH. HE WILL HAVE TO AVERAGE 9 WINS PER SEASON AT LSU FOR HIS TENURE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MY OPINION. I HOPE HE ISN'T JUST MEDIOCRE WHERE HE IS TOO GOOD TO FIRE BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO EVER REALLY WIN ANYTHING IMPORTANT.
Gotta hand it to you, PT...there aren't many people quite as skilled as you are at twisting the knife in somebody's back while smiling at them and calling them "friend". That having been said, HATE is a very strong word. I don't think we've been any more hateful than any other CFB fanbase. It just seems that way to you, because like most people, we around here don't take very kindly to people who talk out of both sides of their mouth.
