It's just a poll. And it shows that 70% of employers have no issue with the plan. Of the minority that do, many are just posturing to maintain the status quo. When it comes down to it, not all of them can afford to alienate their staffs by pulling benefits.

A McKinsey and Co. study is not just a poll. And 30 percent of employers talking about dropping health plans is alarming. The fact that companies who have a greater understanding of the overhaul law are more likely to drop coverage is very alarming.

Thinking through this, maybe that is the goal all along. More people buying insurance in the public market as individuals and not getting reduced taxable wages will result in more money for ghe government.

I'M not trying to tell anyone what's in the law. You would have to be a lawyer to understand what they are trying to say anyway. Supporters are going to say it's the best thing ever, opponets will say the opposite. From the reports business doesn't like it that's why they're sitting on trillions of dollars waiting to see what's going to happen. Bad news for democrats with elections not too far off. You can bet if a republican is elected they will get off that money.

You say things like "The Obamacare explanition given by the democratic supporters is sugar coated and you can't believe a damn thing they tell you."

I repeat, why should anyone believe you?

I knew this bill was terrible a long time ago. You need not look farther than the fact that the democrats had to bribe a wagon load from their own party to pass it in a largely democrat controlled house and senate. It is crap and exactly why so many employers are saying screw it, I will take the penalty it is cheaper than compliance. This will in turn lead everyone exactly where big brother wants them. Socialized, govt run health care which has also been proven a colossal failure everywhere it is implemented. But of course "thats not what the law says" yeah we get it amigo. You keep believing everything barry tells you.

You don't have to. It's an opinion. Opinions are like azzholes everyone's got one. You believe obamacare will work out well. That's your opinion of what you have heard about it. Things I have heard about it make me believe it will be a disaster. I'm not trying to say I know anything more than what I have read or heard on tv. I have not read the bill and to tell you the truth I probably wouldn't understand it anyway. I gave an opinion. I don't trust the government or what they say. I have a disabled kid. I have been turned down over and over by the government in regard to getting help for the tens of thousands of dollars in medical expenses for him. Why should I believe that more government will be better. Nobody should believe me. I don't have a masters degree in obamacare. Here is a question for you. Why should I believe you. You take up the democratic stance on just about every single issue. Why should I believe you are unbiased? I know you give your opinion about what you believe obamacare will become. Neither you or I can tell the future. How can you say for absolute sure that obamacare will be good for the country or bad. It's too complex of a bill for anyone to be sure about how it's going to impact the country. I said I don't believe talking points by someone on tv that is getting paid to tow the party line. Do you believe everything they say? I don't believe what reps say most of the time either. I didn't ask you to believe me. Either you agree with my opinion that you can't believe democratic talking points on obamacare because the bill is so complex it's impossible to know or you disagree. It's an opinion. I'm not trying to convince you to believe me.

Shhh, quiet. Red's clicking the heals of his ruby slippers and saying hope and change. He's in for a real surprise when he wakes up and finds out he's not in Oz anymore. For those of us living in the real world we know that the numbers in the study are a definite reason for alarm. Many of us with company health plans have been fearing this day since obamacare passed. Most of us also saw the hand writing on the wall and knew it was just a matter of time. Typical socialism if you ask me. Just another thing the government will control and hand out as they see fit.

Exactly. I think you can't believe anything about the Health Law because you only consider the republican talking points.
