I voted for a democrat for the first time in my life today

I just can't help but think that having Landrieu as the chair of the energy committee is a good thing and something we need to hang onto. The republicans will probably get the senate but even if they don't, it doesn't matter because it's a gridlock either way with an (R) house and (D) president. Plus, Cassidy hasn't blown me away. I think she loses but she has my vote today and in the runoff.

 

I don't know how you will be able to go home and watch Fox News guilt free.

I watch foxnews as much as I watch msnbc, which is to say never. I find CNN to be the most unbiased, although not perfect.

well, while we are in the spirit of voting confessions, I voted for a Republican today for my local NC house seat, Chuck McGrady. Good guy who does good work for our area and a moderate in every sense of the word.

 

I voted for a Democrat. A judge up for reelection. I know him personally and he is no liberal

 

I voted for a democrat the last school board election. Well...she is one of my best friends.

Oddly enough, many of my very close friends are democrats. I think I hate all politicians on a state/national level. The local politicians are the ones who probably go into it to really help their communities.

 

Well...now it looks like you will have to do it again, if you can stomach it.
