Let me just say as owner and self proclaimed ambassador of TigerForums.com, we welcome all Tiger fans new and old.

I would like to see people treat each other with a little more civility especially new members. Likewise, if you are a new member, it’s probably a good idea to introduce yourself and ease into the forum. Get to know everyone. Like any group of people, people are going to look upon strangers with a little suspicion at first, especially at a time like this when tensions and emotions are high.

We have several fans from other teams that are not only regulars but Contributors. If they can stand their ground any LSU fan can. :thumb:

Welcome to all our new members.

I am frankly ticked off about the situation -- I think Saban is making a mistake, a la Spurrier, and Rick Pitino, but it will take a few years for him to realize it. I'm just trying to be realistic, if he stays, I'll be very happy. It's a little silly to question one's Tiger fan credentials, but I'd be willing to bet I know more about LSU football history than the guys who are questioning my loyalty to the Ole War Skule. I lived in Pentagon Dorm, rode the bus to Memphis to watch the Tigers in the 1978 Liberty Bowl, drove a Toyota Corolla with three other guys to the 1982 Orange Bowl, went to the 2 Nebraska Sugar Bowls in the 80s, etc. So I've been a Tiger fan longer than the past 5 years of Saban's tenure. Unfortunately, all signs point to him taking the Dolphins' job; I think it's a mistake, but, it's his career. Now, who are we going to get to continue the success of the past 5 years?:champs: :laflagwav :usaflagwa :)

    Oh...I get it...

You must be the one in need of some "learning"...Seeing as how you have an obvious inability to detect sarcasm...

Keep on teaching, smart guy. We're all paying attention to you!

The problem was not with what tigerjeffery said. It was how he said it. If you show respect and you'll get some back.

    Back to Saban..

As of now the players have not been told anything to believe he is leaving; they won't see him again until Saturday. Will he sign with Miami without talking to the team at all about it? Just leave practice yesterday, sign with Miami tonight/tomorrow, and not say one word to his team about it until he sees them 3 days later?
