Clayton #2 WR out of draft so far IMO

Clayton is having a very nice year. But so is Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald. They are all very close. Roy Williams and Fitzgerald will make more hightlight rills with the spectacular catches. But Clayton will be steady and a very good possession WR and down field blocker.

I listened to an interview on the radio driving home this afternoon with Bruce Allen, the Bucs GM. He heaped praise on Michael for a full two minutes. The problems the Bucs have had at QB this season make Mike's stats even more impressive.

He's got to be the front runner for NFC Rookie of the Year.

Ooh. I think he would definitely be the frontrunner, if not for a certain QB playing in Pittsburgh...

I'm pretty sure it's either offensive or defensive ROY, not league dependent.

Spring Tiger is correct. I did a Google search and until 1996 there were two awards, one for the NFC and one for the AFC. Now they award an Offensive & Defensive award. I would agree that the Steeler QB is the front runner for the Offensive award.
