It's senior day. It is perfectly acceptable to call the timeout and do it. No other coach would ever get upset. They would appreciate seeing those two guys get on the floor as much as anyone else. They know the value of such players for practice. They would understand rewarding them in such a small way. As for the ball kicking, it was not really nice to Vandy.. Vandy had just played their hearts out and was trying to get into the NCAA. A couple of their guys played the games of their lives but they just fell short. The last "play" of the game sorta rubbed it in their faces don't ya think?
did anyone notice that with 20 seconds left, Tac was jumping up and down on Brady... almost tackling him as the clock went down. Would have been nice to call a TO.. most players hate to be put in with 10 seconds of meaningless basketball. Almost embarrasing to them.
IF Vandy wanted to win, play harder! It's not Hudson's fault! He had a great game! The kick came WELL after the final buzzer went off too! And about Tack... he ran onto the floor with about 5 secs left too! which could have been whistled!
The announcers said that Maravich has one more year of eligibility- that he is an academic senior. Will he be back, or is Brady asking him to make room?
