I'd like Tom Herman to replace Miles

Herman took his name out of consideration for the South Carolina job today.

 

Smart move. USCe is a no win situation.

 

I'll say it again, I'd like Tom Herman to replace Miles. I think he's the next great coach in college football.

 

So was Curley Hallman

 

So was Nick Saban.

 

Not really. Culey's success at a mid major was all due to Brett Favre. Saban had moderate success at a major program that was not the dominant program in the state of Michigan. Big difference

 

Nah, he thinks it has to do with martial arts.

 

Yes a big difference there. But Saban was already getting NFL attention when he came here to LSU cause he was a Parcells' disciple. We had to worry about him jumping ship every year he was here.

Some "next great coaches" work out and some don't. Imo, which isn't worth crap, I think Herman is one of them.

 

Urban Meyers wasn't a household name until he went to Florida, unless you followed Utah football
