Someone needs to vote them lower in the polls and explain that it was due to the lack of sportsmanship on the fake punt. That is a play straight out of the VB handbook.

 

What ticks me off is during the game, they showed the ADT National Championship Trophy. It was said something like "this is what USC is playing for"...."the National Championship" while showing the ADT Trophy. Damn, according to last year, I didn't think you had to actually win the National Championship Trophy in order to be the National Champions. Hell, Boise State might as well claim the title.

 

LOL, in a perfect finish, they will. This year Boise will get a piece, if Utah wins in the post season, they will also get a piece of the '04 NC. Then if AU wins the Sugar they will gulps...gags... get a share and finally the Sooners will too. :lol:

 

I still can't let the fake punt go-- if I were a DL for the Irish, I would have made an extremely late hit on sauna boy Lienart (helment to helment) on the next play. o:

 

Who cares what the poles say it, should be could this team be the best in the nation? How can you have a championship and still have to wonder if there isn't a better team than the team that ended up #1. The whole system needs to be put out of it's misery. Do you believe that AU would have no chance against Oklahoma or USC?

 

I think Auburn could keep up with either of the teams, especially if they let us get up early on...but we'll never know. Just like last year with LSU and USC, the two best teams...we'll never know.

 

If all of us dumba$$ arm chair QB's can see that why can't the powers that be who are suposed to be so smart give us a system that works and makes then filthy rich?
