I think most people think there are many great teams out there. There isn't. All teams are now adjusting and finding the right mix of players and getting their timing down on offense and defense. The fact Auburn was able to beat us regardless the bad call, shows they have a team that is a top team. No they dont have a great QB but neither did we last year. they do have some senior leaders on offense that took control saturday which won them the game. the same way we beat UGA early in the year last year. leadership is very important and the thing I kept trying to preach to others in the offseason how the QB play is essential and why its hard to beat a team who does. That was the biggest difference in the game. AU will get better as well as LSU. LSU has more room for improvement due to skill positions and youth. LSU can still win the NC but they will have to grow quickly...nothing is out of reach. Don't be so fooled by overanalyzing LSU's current deficiencies so early in the season. Our defense is far ahead of last year at this time yet the offense lacks a leader at the QB position. JR will be the starter sooner than later....that's obvious since each time the game was on the line since game 1, Nick put the RS freshman in there.
dammit, I wanted to give you rep for this, but I gave some love to you recently and it won't let me. I say we need the power of a super rep, where once a month you can hand it out to anyone anytime.....say with a once per month limitation on using it
u need to get a clue dude u are one that thinks that auburn team is special now because they beat lsu well the facts are that lsu is no where near what they were last year and auburn barely eeeeked by a victory with a little help i might add so go ahead and prop that auburn team up as much as i hate to say it the trojans would have went to auburn and spanked there azz again because thats what an elite team does to a team like auburn THEY ARE WEAK
I agree Smoke. People say that AU is so good b/c they beat LSU. But im not impressed with AU at all. They have these two great RB's but nether one could score a TD. LSU beats AU every 9 out of 10 times this year if you ask me.
Like I said, get a clue. I don't think anything special of Auburn, but I certainly don't think they're "weak". I do think LSU is a slightly better team than Auburn, but to say Auburn is weak, shows your lack of knowledge. ....and may I ask who has stated that they were? may be not 9 of 10 but more wins than losses auburn beat lsu on emotion and inept refs we are not a legit top 5 team any more trojans sooners canes would completly wax auburn and probably lsu also right now i just aint about to go saying because auburn beat lsu that auburn is all that
If you ask me AU still Sux. It just shows you that LSU is better then avarage this year. Look for at least 1 to 2 more L's
the only thing lacking is your knowledge of the game if i could just get u off of auburns jock for a moment all because they beat an lsu team with growing pains i got more lsu running through my veins than most of u characters yes i am a long way away from br right now but i will probably be at more games than u this yr a closet trojan fan u just might be about the most foolish poster ive run across
LaST YEARS QUARTERBACK Well all that last years QB did was to win a NC ?? There is not a QB in the State of Louisiana that will do that again in the next 6 years! AUBURN is for real they are what LSU was last year . If they play football they will win it all .1 st the sports writers like them . Not only does LSU lack a leader at QB we do not have a QB .JR is not the answer! Last years QB was a winner and that is what we ,not so much you and me, but LSU needs is a winner at QB !!
