well, if they win out i think they should be able to play for the national title, vs. OSU....LSU will represent the SEC in the sugar bowl because we'll beat florida and tennessee.
I honest to God still think we have a shot at it. Ohio State is beatable... Hell, they were losing most all the 1st half against CINCINATTI on Sat. Auburn plays a good team every week in the SEC. USC will lose to ND Florida will lose to us Texas sucks Louisville is without their QB now, too Georgia has a true freshman QB in the SEC. I don't see WVU losing, but anything can happen. It's A LOT of if's and but's, but it sure isn't as certain as Texas/USC last year. We can jump Auburn even if they go to the SECCG over us. A loss early is better than a loss late in the eyes of the polls.
Almost as funny as Herbie and ESPN saying that LSU's really the best team in the conference at the end of the season, even if AU finishes 1st in the West...
Here is what I think! What if Ohio st, gets beat by Michigan at the end of the year. Michigan will lose this week in Madison. USC will lose to ND. LSU is ranked 10 They will beat the FL and Tenn on the road. The only teams I see Aawbarn has is GA and the iron bowl. Is there a way that LSU and Aawbarn could play for a NC??
I know exactly what you mean and you're right. Still, sports fans are always going to cite the piece of information that backs up their own argument - no matter how flimsy. Are any of us really objective when evaluating our team?
Because I'm as ick obsessed sole who is still absolutely pissed and want a rematch, I'll break down hoe it can happen. 1. Ohio St. loses by a minimum of 10 pts to Michigan 2. Auburn must win out. 3. USC may need to lose twice (Cal and ND) 4. WVU lose to Louisville 5. Florida loses to LSU & Auburn 6. Michigan loses to Penn St. and possibly Iowa 7. Texas loses to OU 8. Louisiville loses @ Rutgers 9. Georgia loses to AU 10. LSU wins out (Virginia Tech #10 in coaches, loses to Clemson & BC)
