You've got to be the biggest LSU homer on this board. You are hilarious. Since you are so obsessed with statistics, here is another one. Bama is simply 11 points away from an unbeaten record and a top-5 ranking.
I am not going to come out and say we are not going to lose to Bama (like SDMan did). As we all know, in the SEC, any team can win week in and week out. Just ask South Carolina about Vandy this year... or ask Florida about LSU back in '03 when UF was having a decent but not great season and came into Death Valley to hand the Tigers their only loss. I think Alabama will be as tough to beat, if not tougher then Auburn was. The defense is just as good as Auburn and JPW is looking better and better as the SEC season goes on. I think if we can exploit Bama's O-Line and pressure JPW with a mix of blitzes then we can walk out of Tuscaloosa with a W. I think it all comes down to how much pressure we can get on JPW, as if given an adequate amount of time, he can pick us apart in the secondary just as easily as Woodson, Cox, Smelley, or Tebow.
See these upsets: Appy St. over Meeechigan Stanford over USC Colorado over Oklahoma Vandy over S. Carolina Kansas St. over Texas S Florida over Auburn UCLA over Cal Illinios over Wisconsin Wyoming over Virginia Wofford over Appy St. I'm afraid that it's the year of the upset bro. Any given Saturday is what I like to say. People didn't give Bama a chance in '05...We proved we were worthy to be on the same field. This year, I was worried at the start of the season, but I'm not as much anymore. You guys aren't all that healthy, your recievers are dropping a lot of passes, and your D-line hasn't been as dominant lately against good OL's--and we have a decent one. I wouldn't get too confident and say that we have 0 chance of taking the win. Anything can happen this year...and with the huge game that it is, both teams will be pumped--but we'll be in BDS! :thumb:
What a stupid thread for a Bammer to start on a LSU board. How arrogant and braggadocious does a Bammer have to be on this board before they get banned?
Where you guys have not been so dominant against us... I think you would have "something" if it were in Baton Rouge... oh wait... that little rhyme doesn't work anymore either.
Not that your wrong, but... Auburn held Arkansas to 7 points, Alabama allowed 38 Alabama also allowed superpowers Houston and Miss State to post 24 pts each. The Bammers are the second worse pass-defense in the SEC. Air Flynn will have a field day.
