so he has a temper........when was the last time you heard of a Bobby Knight program being investigated by the ncaa.......seems like he runs very clean programs......pretty classy........
Knight has lots of class. He just has a temper. There's a difference. 90%+ graduation rate. ZERO off-the-court incidents (for his players anyway) and ZERO trouble with the NCAA in 30+ years of coaching. How does that translate into a coach without class recruiting and producing young men without class?
great question, hard to answer. i love some his antics, but he definitely seems like he treats the kids too harshly. i have had coaches that yelled at us (the players) and i hated the bastards. but then again, i love that knight is so honest and outspoken, and that he is unafraid to rip the press. ultimately i would say no though, because i am afraid of the guy.
Hell, yea. . . Bob Knight with Nolan Richardson and Jim Harrick as assistants. Larry Eustachy could be the graduate assistant. That way he could more likely get away with crashing sorority parties. God bless the internet.
knight has ethics or at least does what he feels is the right way to do things.... harrick/eustachy for that matter knew what they did was wrong. richardson? no clue what happens in that head but i do love those white cowboy boots with the dark, velvet suits.
Class guys don't say the things that he says or do the things that he does. Class guys don't choke players. Stop mincing words.
are you insane? it's only been 23 years, but do I remember it so vividly. knight slamming down that phone in the '81 Finals Four and the officials so intimated so as to not even T him up, much less throw him out. I'm sorry if I regress, but I can't support a team with that hot head as the coach. there are too many quality coaches out there to settle for that goat with a ton of baggage. "he's a great coach" just doesn't cut it. now, jimmy harrick knows basketball.
