Bobby Knight and LSU are a good match. God forbid we bring in a coach who graduates players and injects a winning attitude. If the thought of Nick Saban, Bobby Knight, Skip Bertman, Smoke Laval and Mark Emmeret all passing each other in the hallway doesn't peak your curiosity or captivate you imagination then you have no pulse. Having 3 Legendary Coaches in their respective sports and an all-or-nothing administration under the same roof would be unbelievable...

PLEASE!! Putting the name Bobby Knight in the same sentence with Saban, Skip, Smoke and Emmert is an insult to 4 class guys. If Knight were on the same campus with Nick Saban Knight's ego would cause him to pick a fight with Saban at the first opportunity. Knight was bigger than any football coach they ever had at Indiana and the same at TT. Knight couldn't stand being overshadowed by Saban.

Knight would pick a fight with Saban? Dude, stop watching so much wrestling. Passing on the (hypothetical) opportunity to hire Bobby Knight because of his "ego" is like refusing to sleep with Jessica Simpson because she has big feet...

Few coaches have possessed the ability to carry sports past being simply a game. Bobby Knight is one of the few. Bobby Knight is a winner. No other coach in the United States has guided teams to every major title-three NCAA championships, an NIT title, the Pan American gold and the Olympic gold medal.

He is an innovator. When Bobby Knight arrived at Indiana University in 1971, Big Ten offensive averages came down as other coaches copied his successful passing-game offense and tenacious man-to-man defense. Bob Knight has proven time again that he is the finest basketball coach in America. No other coach can cite NCAA and CIT Championships and Olympic and Pan American gold medals among his achievements. He is one of only 13 coaches in college basketball history to record 700 or more victories. During Knight's 27-year stint at Indiana, the Hoosiers won an amazing 618 games, including 19 seasons of 20 or more wins.

But most importantly, Bobby Knight is a teacher. Over 90 percent of his players have graduated, but their most valuable lesson comes from their coach. Indiana players learned to accomplish more than they thought possible. This is the lesson former Hoosiers cite over and over as helping to shape their lives. This is the lesson that makes Bobby Knight a builder of men.

    LOL,

Bob Knight doesn't have that many years left, he is around 64 years old and we would be LUCKY if we hired him and he stayed
    about 5 years.

A lot of good that would do!:D

BB, I didn't say that Knight is not a good coach. I said he is an asshole of a human being. He might have considered coming to LSU if Hallman or DiNardo was still the FB coach but he will never go to a school where football is top dog and football coach is a future legend. The only exception to that would be if he had a desire to finish his career at his alma mater Ohio State where he was on the 1960 National Championship team.

Why would you put Nolan Richardson or Bobby Knight in the same category as Jim Harrick?

I just think he has something left - something more to prove and I have to believe that Texas Tech ain't exactly a great place to hang it up...

IMO he will be looking for an ideal situation to make his final run...

Wherever he chooses, Texas Tech or otherwise, it will be a fun experience for those who are along for the ride...

Bobby Knight choked a LSU fan at his hotel when LSU & Indiana were in NCAA tournament.

The guy is a great coach but he is also an idiot with bad temper.

No question he's got a screw loose, but isolated incidents can't cloud his accomplishments and his winning ways...

Just admit it, the thought of 3 National Champion coaches parking next to each other every morning is exciting to consider - where else in the country has that happened?

    Bob Knight is an idiot.
