If Cleveland Browns hire Michael Lombardi, Alabama's Nick Saban would be likely head coach target

    Just interviewed at the barn.

    +1

He hated the NFL. He's a control freak, he can't control grown men. Same problem Spurrier had.

  3. Already been proven that he's not good enough for the NFL. He'll stay at bama, where he has the officials and scheduling constantly working in his favor. Although Cleveland has to be a major step-up from Trailerparkalossa.
  4. paradiseinc don't worry, be happy

How sad is that? Sounds like Terry likes it though.
  5. He'll probably move just to spite her. He doesn't like people speaking for him.

I wonder if the Gumps would still worship him? Would his statue come down? LOL, so poetic.
  7. Lombardi is a name I like.

If he gets total control over personnel, a la Belichick, I bet he seriously considers it.

Didn't he have that in Miami? Can't remember, been a long time.
  10. HalloweenRun I'll try to be nicer, if you try to be smarter!

Sorry guys, it is not gonna happen. Saban's "process" does not yield itself to pro game or personnel. He has learned it. He has a machine at Alabama, and it is not going anywhere.
