Stoops would have been Les' beach in January ... but lost to TT Stoops 7 years $34.5 MM USD/ Year ... The $5 Million Dollar Man The Highest-Paid College Football Coaches This is old ... early 2011 ... and Stoops got his raise as noted The Dwarf ... another of Les' beaches ... makes $ 6 Million a year Les only makes $4 Million So, yes, LSU gonna have to poney up and give Miles another chunk of change after Jan 9th. Edit: LSU would be wise to make the assistants pay near the highest to keep our best guys ... Right now Texas holds the title for highest paid assistants
I gotcha. With the tension lingering in the air over the next week in a half, fist fights would be breaking out all over the forums- if that was possible.
I'm not trying to bring the bad mo- Jo. I was trying to remember what we had discussed when clm got a contract extension after sending big blue home empty handed. I thought I remembered everyone saying how clm didn't hold lsu's feet to the fire in a bidding war for him to stay but had wording stating that he would be getting a raise if he lead lsu to another title.
I know a lot of people with your same opinion, that is only because Saban was here first. I believe Coach Miles would have done the same if he would have given the same opportunity. IMHO Any Good Coach that could recruit the talent in this state could have done the same thing saban has done....
heeeeeeell yeah. well said. seems like his players would run through a brick wall for him. I think players and their families know if a kid goes to LSU to play for Miles, they will be taken care of, they will get a degree, and they will be part of a family. Not to mention win a bunch of football games and maybe a crystal or two. Long live Les:milesmic:
You may be right. Either way, it's nice to enjoy a season without listening to all of the haters calling for his head. The last couple of years was pretty rough- listening to the haters, and then there's the jl vs jj controversy, etc. Cheers to the future. I will enjoy it while it lasts.
