Alabama has scored a non-offensive TD in every game this year. Complete team. Again, I have not seen this complete an Alabama squad. Beware all of you in the 'This team is beatable' camp. If our OLine does not play the game of the year, we will not win. If they play poorly, we are in for a thumping.
Our fans were chanting, "We want Bama" at the end of the game last night. How far have we come in just a few weeks.
The pressure Alabama's defense is getting consistently at the QB is off the charts. It melted Knight in the second half. The Boa Constrictor description has been replaced with more of the Black Mamba variety. (fastest land snake in world) A lot more blitzes and run stunts dialed up from past generations of Bama defenses. That said, we get a look at the best pro-style offense on the schedule. Balanced and multiple this time out. As always, should be a real good game in the bayou and offer some great matchups. Glad for the bye, Bama was tired at the end of a grueling 4 game set.
No, not this time. I went to neyland and that about did it for me for the season. I'll be in Atlanta if we get there.
I don't think I'm too far off of where you are. They are certainly the best team in the country. But if we play a full game of football, we have a chance. If we don't, then I agree with you we are in for a long night.
This team is beatable, but unless we have a balanced offense it's going to be rough. A solid passing attack will loosen the run and Fournette is just amazing when the defense isn't stacking the box. Couple that with our ability to shut down the pass and they're going to have a hard time running on us. We have the talent and the right men leading us into battle. No more playing scared.
I guess our lines are going up against the best lines they'll face this year, so they better eat their wheaties.
