You don't know a lot about Jim Chaney, eh? About the only place I'd like to see him coach, other than UT, would be UGA. Hell, I'd take Bobo before Chaney.

Depends on the team. He could head coach a small university now and work his way up like Saban did. Or he could go the coordinator route at a BCS school and hold out for a BCS coaching job like Jimbo Fisher did. Who knows his optimum career path. Depends on if he's a technical football guy or a charismatic football manager.

With his success as a recruiter, he will get his foot in the door somewhere.

Not much, except that their offense is much better than ours. I'd take a chance on anything at this point.

Because change for the sake of change is so prudent?

Typo. That was supposed to say chance, and it has been corrected.

The comment was really tongue-in-cheek, but I do think that at some point, we must start to consider a change at OC. Not that we are necessarily at that point yet; Mett still has time to put it together.

I think a change at OC is likely at the end of the season. However, we can beat Bama if we execute sharply. Big if, but a possibility nonetheless.

can't see a change doing us much good with play calling. may help in player development, which could be huge. since the offensive philosophy probably won't change under clm, it would be nice to at least wear teams down like we did last year. we've had injuries and departures to deal with, depleting our depth. it's going to be tough.

This again? The offensive philosophy has changed a lot over the years, especially since the departure of Crowton. It's obvious to anyone that really looks objectively at it that Miles is NOT playing OC. Crowton took a nose dive after our NC year, and Kragthorpe developed health issues. The offense scored a lot of points last year, so Miles couldn't justify making a change, which is why Stud is back this year. You can't say definitively that this is the same exact offense that we've had for the last few years. We've just had bad luck in the Offensive coaching department. Hopefully, when Miles hires his next one, it'll work out and we'll be able to finally see some improvement.

Couldn't disagree more. And to say obvious to anyone I'd say the opposite is true. Im pretty sure anyone who is honest with themselves will see miles' philosophy all over this bitch. As it should be. If you can't see that when even the mass media can, I dunno what to tell you.

Les is the crippling cog in this offensive wheel. And it has been offensive. He needs to reassess his lack of production over the last half decade and recuse himself from the play book. Find someone with a similar philosophy then get the f out of the way.
