  2. Bingo.
  3. "Mr. Madison, what you just said is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. At no point in you incoherent rambling response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. We are all now dumber for having had listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul!!"

We are an amazing group. Last year this board was lit up with Anti-Lee threads "Bring on Jefferson" etc threads.
Now there is a few who want Lee back.
Man that statement the most popular guy on the team is the Backup QB is never more true with LSU fans.

Dude, Jefferson is our starting QB. I like Lee he is a good kid, but if Jefferson puts up 28 points on the UF defense, I think I dance with the girl who brought me to the dance.
Why would any coach in his right mind BENCH his Starting QB who has put up 28 pts on the UF defense, worked with the 1 offense all season and off season and bring in the backup.
Les would be fired before he got to the locker room and I like Les I dont want him fired, so stick with Jefferson.
  4. Seriously, I think Les will use Lee any time that he thinks he needs a pure passer in the game. I don't think he would bring him in cold to run a two-minute drill, though, unless Jefferson just couldn't hit a soul downfield. In such a case, Lee would have been in the game earlier.
  5. Well we only need three. Why is the deep pass so important in that situation? 45-50 yards is enough.
  6. Thank you!
  7. ...and IF your parents got divorced, they'd still be brother and sister.
  8. i don't have the stats in front of me, but it sure seems like Lee's completions were more effective and not just quick three or four yard passes. just saying. i'd still go with jordan, provided crowton/miles start devising a game plan that is more balanced and effective. i fully expect to see that this week. if we don't... well, we ALL know what the season will be like if we don't.

just to sort of reiterate what i said, it just seems like jefferson looked much more comfortable under center last season. so far in this season it looks like he has taken a step back in some areas. like he's not comfortable with five wide-outs, and is too eager to run for a short gain instead of passing for a 20+ yard play. and those HAVE been open options for him. i don't think it's his confidence, more like the coaches handicapping him. for whatever reason. the receivers may need to do a better job of blocking/getting open... i haven't really had the opportunity to see this team in person yet, so i can't really see downfield -- especially with all of these stupid camera angles that they're trying to employ these days. :angryfire

i don't care what definition it's in if i can't see the play (or if they're cutting to some little sideshow that the producers think will be cute instead of showing the game and we miss a big passing play like has happened at least TWICE this season!) anyway. i'd go with jordan. or shepard!
  9. He can't get comfortable under center OR out of the shotgun because his pocket collapses ridiculously fast. Right now our tackles are even getting beat on a 3-man rush, which is unacceptable. It's a big part of the reason his long balls are so inconsistent. He just can't depend on his line to buy him any time to hit receivers downfield. So he's having to take the underneath routes and rely on his feet to make things happen. It all goes hand in hand. If the O-line improves its pass rush protection, Jefferson won't get happy feet nearly so much, and he'll get comfortable in the pocket, but it won't happen until he has confidence in his line.
