I like the point you are making. A complete game is going to be a game where the offenses don't go buckwild. I think both Auburn and LSU have offenses on par with the best in 1a football and their defenses are the standard bearers. That said, our running game is not all it needs to be, and while I agree with Miles that you have to run to keep defenses honest, I think I'd rather make teams cheat on the pass for a while which would then open up the running game. It is obvious against a top notch defense we can't effectively run the ball.
I tried this. It was not effective. Just passed out for a couple minutes only to wake up more pi$$ed.
