...will Bama get another invite to the BCS Championship game again like last year? I really don't think there will be another top-ranked BCS team goes undefeated this year either. IN OTHER WORDS: What will it take for the love-affair the media has with the "second coming of Bear Bryant" to not be invited back with one loss? I can imagine LSU getting the upset in Tiger Stadium at night but can't imagine Bama not being ranked BCS #2 not happening right now...
This is why I am pulling for Florida to win out up to the SECCG. Then there would be three one loss SEC teams provided we win out against Florida. A third game between two one loss teams who's loss came to the other is an easier pill to swallow than Bama getting a chance for another do-over.
The only reason they would if LSU, Bama and oregon are the top teams. I think people would pick Bama to face us again over having us destroy Oregon yet again. But we are getting way ahead of ourselves here.
What's with the loser mentality, Tiga? Don't you know not to EVER count out a Miles team? Our worst teams still have played Bama tight.
It's hard for me to say it but I think Bama kicks the ever living shit out of us. And Oregon would embarrass us as well. Just have to hope for a small miracle in the next two weeks. That said, you just don't know what will happen when two big boy SEC teams meet so there's always hope.
We just dominated the statistically best offense in the SEC. Make yourself miserable for the next two weeks if you must. But remember that Miles' teams rarely have gotten the shit kicked out of them. I hope the rest of the LSU fans in Tiger Stadium don't bring that sad point of view with them to Tiger Stadium on the 3rd.
Stacey we're scraping the bottom of the barrel playing all these "reserves" (I hate when they call 'em that) and all things considered they're actually doing well despite their youth/inexperience. We're eventually going to have to pay the piper though. Bama's not going to turn the ball over like A&M did. That was the difference in this game, you know. You see Vandy beat Auburn? I know the transitive property doesn't apply to football but dayum. We're very lucky to be where we are.
Miles makes his own luck, and I will choose to be positive about our chances against the fighting Sabans. Who says McCarron can't get his clock cleaned and cough it up?
I don't think we dominated them "Statistically", if you want to use that qualifier. I didn't look at the final stats and after A&M's second possession I went in the yard to cut my ligustrums with my Stihl chainsaw cause I was pissed at how they were gashing us. Came in & out during the 2nd half.
