You know, same people were talking a lot of shit on us 2 years ago when fans wanted coach gone for almost letting Tennessee beat us, and a lot of peoe wanted Miles gone. Well we have beaten Bama 2 in a row in the regular season. I'm not going to ever say we will for sure beat Bama, but I'll be damned if I say we won't beat them. Because its very possible.
You know it's bad when a person asks himself wtf kinda fan am I? I bet people passing in front of my house were wondering what the hell was wrong with me to not be watching the game. I know I'll be asked that this week.
I think it may be a lot to do with the fact that her dad spoiled her rotten than being a coach. I can see her crossing her arms, stomping her feet.
Gotta go into every game expecting to win! Miles is 6-2 coming off a bye at LSU and 3-0 against Saban coming off a bye, this game is at home, at night and I for one like our chances......
While our offense is having problems, our defense is still nothing short of amazing. Our special teams are down, but Bama's not the team they were last year. But to the original question, not a chance of a rematch between us this year. voters wouldn't let it happen.
I was, without a doubt, spoiled with attention from my dad; we certainly didn't have the money for material-type spoiling. So, instead, he took me everywhere with him--lots of summers spent in weight rooms watching teams work out, many scouting trips to see other teams play, meeting college coaches that were recruiting his players. I was around football and coaches my entire life. They are a different breed, and when I like one, like Miles (who reminds me of my dad--though both my dad and I critique his coaching), I will take up for him.
I didn't have a father that was a Coach, but I played sports non stop and was always extremely close with my Coach and have 3 close friends who are high school coaches so I completely understand where you come from when people start bashing on coaches. They just don't get it do they?
I agree the Bama game will be ugly. What a difference a QB makes. McCarron has 1 NC under his belt and will receive his second with this season.
1 as a starter but two, really. What may be more impressive right now is what he DOESN'T have...an interception. My pre-season Heisman pick was Barkley but I think McCarron is much more likely at this point. Surprised we aren't hearing more about him from the media guys.
