Man do I hate the way college football is setup.
It reminds me of people still using paper systems instead of a computer.

    I kinda like the turmoil.

Think about it, after the Super Bowl, nobodyreally argues/ debates about who's better. Little discussion at all after the season.

Part of what I love about College football is the debate that rages the entire offseason about who is better than who. I love the controversy, and the arguments about who should/shouldn't go and why.

It won't be us that's for sure...Miles guaranteed that with his Pac10/USC comments.

You can forget that '03 result. They've changed the formula since then especially because they didn't want that to happen again.

I'd say it would be Oklahoma (even if they catch us in the human polls). They'll by far have the weakest schedule in the computers, and if the human polls are close enough, the computers can still make a difference. Just take a look at the current unofficial rankings in my sig. LSU's No. 1 right now, despite USC being number one in the Coaches poll.

    The good news is:

AP poll is irrelevant... No longer even a factor in the BCS. Let Guilbeau vote all day long.

Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
    My master's gone away.....

When I was young I used to wait
On master and hand him his plate
Pass him the bottle when he got dry
And brush away the blue-tail fly
    Chorus
Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
Guilbeau crack corn, and I don't care
    My master's gone away
When he would ride in the afternoon
I'd follow him with my hickory broom
    The pony being rather shy
When bitten by the blue-tail fly
    Chorus
One day he rode around the farm
Flies so numerous that they did swarm
One chanced to bite him on the thigh
The devil take the blue-tail fly
    Chorus
Well the pony jumped, he start, he pitch
He threw my master in the ditch
He died and the jury wondered why
The verdict was the blue-tail fly
    Chorus
Now he lies beneath the 'simmon tree
His epitaph is there to see
"Beneath this stone I'm forced to lie
The victim of the blue-tail fly"

Oklahoma. It's SC's turn to get their tails whipped by LSU in New Orleans.

I sure hate making the assumption that we will be undefeated when we all saw what happened to UGA and Auburn. Not to mention having to win a SEC championship game, where USC doesn't have one and OU won't have a problem beating the North champion.

But for arguments sake, it will come down to what the SOS is for the respective teams are. With Auburn losing to USF that dings our SOS, so we need the SEC to step up, especially since Cal beat Tenn.

But if all three (USC, OU, LSU) go undefeated, I will say it is LSU and USC. OU has an easy schedule in a down conference. An OoC game against Miami where LSU had Vtech, but Vtech needs to help us out and not collapse.

The media wants USC and LSU; they have since after '03. That would be the way it would happen.

Musberger and Herstreit said the other night, "It would be SO much fun to see USC and LSU in the BCSNCG."
