What will be funny is if USC stumbles... Stoops will be shaking in his boots because I guarantee he wants absolutely NOTHING to do with this Tiger team... In New Orleans... Again... Our '03 team wasn't this good IMHO.
the media has no direct say in it anymore. i hope past seasons (especially way past seasons) dont affect harris poll voters votes. they shouldnt care that auburn got snubbed, or that OU looked bad in 03, or that "everyone wants to see lsu-so. cal". there is a good chance they will take this into acct unfortunately i still think so. cal. could be snubbed basically because of the lack of a conf champ game. so. cal. would have to look less than dominant. OU would have to look very good and other big12 schools would have to look good too (Tx and Neb). i dont think anyone goes undefeated, however. although you end up with the same dilemma. i guess its easier to parse one-loss teams based on the details of their losses.
I mean this in the nicest way... You're smoking crack if you think OU jumps us even after going undefeated. The media is big on LSU this year, especially after dominationg Va Tech.
