Its not like he hasn't tried

Gunner was a lock and then Bailed at the last moment.

    Mett was the #1 juco.

    Got Phillips lil bro...

Shit just hasn't worked out like we planned.

How do you play to win when you can complete 10 passes a game?

    Seriously?

Tiger420 Sell crazy someplace else, all stocked up here.

Well ... about the only thing I can say is he didn't throw INT's. Other than that, the Mett has a lot of work to do.

I am in no way saying Miles is perfect.

But this really would have been a blowout of Mett had a better touch on balls.

Too many overthrows and batted down at the line.

It's like he is just going through the motions.

    Really no pocket awareness.

Were we all sold a bill of goods re Mett? Too much hype? Wanting to believe we would finally have a competent QB? It's frustrating for sure. I really want the kid to succeed, and don't understand the slow learning curve, given his previous success.

I honestly think it is a matter of a wrong QB for our system.

Our average play has 2 wideouts. That is horrible for a kid like this. Horrible.

With that said, he had so many opportunities to throw a freaking TD pass and failed us.

Good point -- we really seem better equipped to have a running QB. I just wonder if CLM throws a curve vs Bama and starts Bolden or Randall. There would be nothing for Saban to prepare for.
