I think JL has done a fantastic job and should continue to be in the QB position..He stepped up and pulled us through. I think the only way he should be taken out and replaced with JJ is if he got hurt.. Way to go JL
Sure, but your original post said that JJ would be the #2 on the depth chart if Lee were to be injured, but he would be #3 if Lee were to just play badly.
Good Lord. I'm not going to bother to respond because before you can read it you will hyperventilate and pass out.
Yep, one could just as easily complain about Lee's goofy smile when things don't go right. Right now it is viewed as a positive. Last year.... Last year, you could have just as easily said "wipe that **** eating grin off your face and take this seriously". While with JJ you could have said "cool, he wears his heart on his sleeve and he cares enough to get POed when a rookie drops a critical pass". It is all based on your preconceived biases for or against the person.
And God knows there is a helluva lot of, lets just call it "biases" in this thread. Nice to show y'all's true colors. :rolleye33: When Mettenberger was announced as being enrolled at LSU where were the "moral high grounders"? Sexual Assault vs. Simple Battery (when he's attacked in a club). I'm not seein' it... :dis:
Wow. I have close friends who were there and it was a mixed crowd; vast majority White - inside and outside during the "free for all". :dis:
If only we had a coach with a proven track record of getting a team to not lose its focus we could stop worrying about this stuff. Then this thread topic would be considered a distraction from worthwhile conversations. :insane:
Very insightful; and correct from sources "on the ground." What turned out to be "a custom" (breaking curfew on the last two-a-day practice) exploded and he got hit with a lot of shrapnel. It could have been far worse: HE could have been seriously injured, too.
