Carr had Michigan in the title game until they got beat by Ohio State. The BCS is not a "best 2 out of 3" proposition.

 

So we are going to get our panties in a wad over our coach speaking in glowing terms of his alma mater?

This is not a new thing...Back when Miles was hired it seems I heard/read somewhere in an interview where he admitted that Michigan was the only school he would drop everything for... Including LSU.

All that said, I don't see Michigan looking for a coach for a while...
