I'm hearing up here that they are going to take the deal. From what I understand we are buying their cooperation.:hihi: ULM/NLU, hates LSU. What I love is the fact that in all of the sporting goods stores up here, all you see is LSU stuff. I couldn't buy a NLU/ULM shirt if I wanted to.

They will hate the backlash a damn sight worse. When they think it through they will decide it is far better for LSU to owe them a favor than to suffer the wrath of the legislature, the influential LSU alumni, the LSU football fan average Louisiana resident, and the governor, too. Who do you think she'll back? Who has the broader fan base who vote in Louisiana elections? It's a no-brainer.

ULM will cave on this one fast.

You people need to take off your purple and gold colored glasses.. ULM's hesitation is because it would give them 2 bye weeks in a row...

BFD. Teams have played seasons with two bye weeks before. Its a damn sight better than playing a 10-game season which LSU might be facing. Or a nine-game season if the worst happens and they cancel Arizona State.

You need to find a pair. Whose side are you on anyway? You have been nothing but negative on just about everything for the past week. Snap out of it already.

I get annoyed by the conspiracy theorists who say that anything any other school in the state does is to subvert LSU.. ULM is looking out for their own interests before they will help out LSU... I would expect LSU to do the same..

Even if the situation is related to the worst natural disaster in the country's history.. one that killed thousands of their fellow citizens in their own state.... hmmmm....

It's funny how people complain about LSU being to big brother like for the small schools in the state, but it seems like now LSU needs the little brothers to step up to the plate and help them out. I personally think that if LSU has to play a few garbage games every year, they should play the in state schools and help them out. I think its good for those schools. They dont have to travel far and they make a good pay check. Having said that, LSU does a lot for those schools. So, its only right that they help out LSU.

They'll switch the games. We will pay them a few hundred thousand dollars. End of story. Screw ULM. Last week they ended the first half with a 23 point lead and let a 1-AA team score 27 unanswered points in the 2nd. :dis:

loco, your quest for us to treat the in state schools, other than LSU, with respect is getting old. If these people would be rational, and accept their place in the pecking order, it wouldn't be so bad. I have nothing against these schools other than the fact that most of them don't like LSU. Their hatred for LSU is due to the fact that they will never rivial us as the dominant Louisiana university. If they would just accept this, and be humble, all would be fine. Until then, to hell with them. Especially Latech.

Now, since I am sure you will have a coronary when you read this post, get over it.
