If your aunt had balls, she wouldn't play in the PAC-10, either!

Don't get me wrong, the SEC is superior to the PAC10 but just b/c we hate USC doesn't mean we can't respect some of the teams in the PAC10

Who cares? We should beat them handily on dry, wet, and whatever ground it is. Excuses are like *******s...

Last year, the Pac-10 had a better SOS overall than the SEC

Everyone knows last year was a down year for the SEC and a good year for the Pac-10. But I'm just presenting the facts here. I don't like USC as much as the next guy, but they deserved the NC last year, and anyone who says otherwise lacks any credibility in my book.

    Doubtful the way we played.

Even on a regular, non-wet field....I think OSU gives us still a great game.

Robidoux87 You call that a double?

I can't believe people are worrying themselves over who gets an award as phenomenally irrelevant as the ESPY. If you aren't impressed by close wins, name one college football team who stomped a mudhole in every team they played in the last 20 years?

Last year LSU almost lost home games to Ole Miss and Troy State. Say that out loud to yourself.....Troy State.

I agree that it's trivial to be worrying about whether USC wins the ESPY or not, but those close wins by USC in 2004 were a clear indication that they aren't what people are making them out to be. Great team? yes. Best ever? doubtful.

In 2003, with the exception of their final two games, OU stomped a mudhole in every one of their opponents. Florida used to stomp mudholes in most of their opponents in the 90's. In FSU's dominant years, they dominated most, if not every one of their opponents. I can recall certain Miami and Michigan (just to name a few) teams that also stomped their foes into the ground. To be considered the "greatest team ever", (IMO) that team's wins should be very decisive, leaving no doubt that they are great.
