First of all, no one spanked anyone. Secondly other than last year, when was the last time the loser of the SECCG went to a BCS game? If Bama were to get blown out against Auburn (which i said is highly unlikely) then get drummed by UF, there is a chance that a 2 loss LSU team could pass a 2 loss Bama team, albeit highly unlikely. It happend with 2 1 loss teams last year Texas and OU, OU passed Texas even though Texas won the head to head.
Won't happen. The major bowls want nearby teams that have traveling fans. USC fans won't travel in force to the southern bowl games. LSU won't travel very well to a western bowl game. If we ever meet USC it will have to be in the BCG game. Which won't be this year.
You may well be right;however the world may be watching. The SEC has a rep now with their refs............I feel bama may be down and hurting after Sat. game when they go to Miss St. Just saying look out for the upset.......
sec has had negative publicity and rep for the officiating for weeks and slives reaction (other than one short suspension) was to try to silence the critics with intimidation. nothing is gonna chance until there is an sec commish change. if slive does anything positive to put a stop to these shenanigans, it will be to save his own hide, not to save the integrity of the sec.
Looks like the sprotswriters are gonna go after slive.....all the top writers are calling out the SEC about the bad refs..........also i see were LSU stays at #9 in the AP poll.........
