I think if he was staying he would announce it in B.R. Just seems a little odd that he would announce in Florida.
sounds to me like your mind is already made up that he's gone. bank on it. so if that's the case why do you need any confirmation from NS. I am concerned about the situation as well, but NS will let us know when he sees fit whether we like it or not Got It?
Alright here is the story as I know it. The source is as reliable as it comes. I can't reveal names because it could do tremendous damage to my sources career. Saban accepted the job Thursday night. WH was here not to talk Saban into staying, but to take him back to Miami. Here is where it gets fuzzy, Saban did not leave with WH. Something happened and my source does not know what that is.
come on now. he was in BR to give Saban a ride to Miami. What about the team leaving for Orlando. Was Saban gonna met them there or something??? I don't buy it. Just my opinion
Could be he is wating to get most of the team together on the ride to Orlando to let them know what is going on. You have a captive audience with no way for outside sources to reveal any information so he could do it with much privacy and personally. Either way he would not have any leaks until he landed in Orlando.
It's apparent you feel confident in your source, but, in today's media environment, someone would have definitely gotten wind of this if, in fact, saban accepted a job with a high profile NFL franchise. it's just not fathomable.
I believe that NS has made his mind up already. The outpouring of support from the mighty faithful LSU fanbase has made the decision a difficult one for NS and family. Man, I hope to keep him. I just have a hard time believing that NS would announce his intentions of taking another job right before one of the biggest games of the year. Seems to me it would be a big let down for players and fans alike. But then again all the speculation of losing Nick has certainly deflated my interest in the bowl game. Don't get me wrong, I'll be watching, but if I know Nick's leaving us it won't be with the same enthusiasm as the Oklahoma game last year.
Well I don't think he would say he's going and then fly with them to Orlando either. That's just... odd. Perhaps he will tell them and then ask them if they still want him to coach the Cap One Bowl. Could be a team vote this afternoon.
