A certain amount of coaching turnover is healthy. At 10-2 (perhaps 11-2) with a young, scary talented team that opens 2011 by kicking Oregon's silly-ass caboose in Dallas, Les should be able to hire the best offensive coordinator and offensive line coach that is on the market . . . or perhaps steal some of those who ain't.
And six years later we never solved the riddle. Sad to see Les go, but it was time. One can look to the past for early signs of the issues that were going to seal Les's fate.
getting the offense back in order, improving offensive line play and bringing in some talented QB prospects will be important for the next coach, hopefully it won't be to tall of a task. Things could have been worse I suppose.
