Here is mine..... 1 Earthquake Game 2 CJ vs Georgetown 3 LSU vs LMU CJ, Shaq 4 LSU vs Miami in CWS 5 this years Sugar Bowl :lsug: :lsug: :geaux: :geaux:
No. 2...Are you talking about when LSU beat Georgetown in the Superdome on a last second put-back by Ricky Blanton? I was at that game and it was awesome. That was also the same game that Dale Brown put an all-white lineup against Georgetown's all-black lineup to really show-up John Thompson, the racist that he is. Those are definitely some of the most memorable. Since I saw the Georgetown game, I would have to insert the LSU/Ole Miss with Billy Cannon's legendary return. Just to be part of the lore. I can remember watching the LMU game. That was the most incredible display of shooting and speed ever. They should show that on ESPN Classic around tournament time.
1. Earthquake Game 2. Florida upset 1997 (night the goal post came down) 3. Sugar Bowl from this year 4. CWS game against Miami 5. (If I can go to before I was born) Ole Miss-LSU Billy Cannon run.
1. Sugar Bowl 04 2. SEC CG 03 3. Arkansas 03 4. Ole Miss 03 5. Alabama 03 You think I am just a little enamored with this year's LSU Football team?
How about How about in 1908 when we beat Cuba 58-0 (lol). Here's my 5 in this order: 1) Earthquake Game 2) LSU/Ole Miss 1959 3) LSU/Miami - 1996 CWS 4) LSU/UK Elite Eight - 1986 5) LSU Sugar Bowl NC this year Games I'd like to forget: 1) LSU/UK 1994 - 31 point comeback for UK 2) LSU/IU 1987 regional final - IU erases a double-digit deficit with less than 5 minutes in the game to beat LSU 77-76. 3) LSU/Florida - 1993 - 100 year of LSU football on ESPN - if only they didn't show the game 3-58; Ouch! 4) LSU/Alabama - 1996 - With the SEC West on the line, Alabama drubs us, 26-0. 5) LSU/Alabama - 1998 - Leading 16-7 with less than 3 minutes to go, LSU gives up two touchdowns, including an onside kick, to loss 22-16.
I'll just be like most old men LSU fans and tell my grandchildren one day that I did attend all these games.
