What a great video! I love the Champ vs. Champ tagline.

Is this a first, has the 2 defending champs ever faced off the next year before?

I believe it is a first. I know we were the first I-AA (oops, FCS) team Michigan ever played.

I really like that video, too. Except for the guy who says App's dominated for 10 years (he's stretching it a bit). It doesn't make any pretense that App is expecting to win or that last year's NC makes a bit of difference this year. Everyone's starting at 0-0. Hopefully, we'll show you BCS folks a good game.

That was pretty cool to watch. I like Appy St, that win against Michigan was awesome. Was hilarious to see Michigan out of the National Championship run after one game.

Can't say I know a whole lot about App St though besides they have a really good QB and a lot of speed. Looking forward to the season starting

The part of the video that chaps my rear is the "Second only to USC" That will fire our boys up right there.

As I recall Michigan laughed also.... I will say in the 23 yrs I have attended ASU football games we have never had the depth or size of your beloved tigers.. never had the money or scholarships... Never had the support of a nation..... how ever it was not to long ago that we ventured to Baton Rouge and played a tough game. We have heart..... There has never been an ASU team step on a bus or a plane to play to lose a game. I believe LSU had much more talent in 05... Jamarcus Russell Joseph Adi.... Minus the squanded scoring opportunities it was a very tough game palyed by both teams. Not quite the shocker of beating Michigan but I believed it was a suprising effort. I look forward to my retun to LSU your fans were wonderful in 2005.... GEAUX APPS!!!!!!

I am extremely excited about this game. I lived about an hour from Appy State when I was in Johnson City, Tennessee and have always supported them (except when they played my Tigers). Boone is a GORGEOUS town. I'm ready to watch the defending national champions take on the defending national champions. I have some serious respect for Appy St. and am gonna do my damndest to be there for that one. GEAUX TIGERS and good luck to Appy after Aug. 30th :thumb:

I dont know about that statement right there. It always seems that the nation doesnt jump on the bandwagon until the end of the season.

The nation jumped on our bandwagon? I missed that part. Or do you imply that LSU fans are bandwagon fans? If so, that's pretty rich and you might prepare to get blasted for it here.

    Welcome...

The season after Katrina you guys came down and played one hell of a game. They just ran out of steam in the 4th. Plus the donation of 25 grand the school collected to the victims of the storm got one of the loudest ovations for a non football incident I'd ever seen.
