The SEC is run and defense dominated. Other then the Manning boys and dad, when was the last time a QB from the SEC did anything in the NFL? I just don’t understand why the SEC can’t produce a quality NFL star.
Because if you can successfully QB in the SEC, you'll have a high-income job for life..... the good 'ole boy business network is alive and well in the Deep South :thumb: All kidding aside, the SEC is one of (if not THE) most competitive leagues in the game today.
I'd say because most guys want to compete against and with the best and that winning against the best is the biggest motivation.
SEC quarterbacks don't throw the ball nearly as much as in other leagues... and they play against the best defenses in the country... I think if I were a HS anything, I would seriously think about playing in Hawaii.. I mean.. its Hawaii...
Wasnt Jason Campbell of Auburn drafted in the first round ??? Why wouldnt you want to be part of the most dominant conference in college football?
Look at what Timmy Chang did. He put up record passing numbers over there and last I heard he was struggling to stay on the practice squad with an NFL team.
